NAT64
By APIVERSA
NAT64 by APIVERSA is a service provided by API VERSA OU that allows IPv6-only clients to communicate with IPv4-only servers by translating IPv6 requests to IPv4 on your behalf. It enables seamless connectivity for networks transitioning to IPv6, making sure you can still access legacy IPv4 content.
NAT64 works by translating IPv6 packets to IPv4 and vice versa. When an IPv6 client sends a request to an IPv4 destination, NAT64 by APIVERSA will intercept the request, perform the translation, and forward the data to the destination. The reverse happens for responses from IPv4 servers back to the IPv6 client.
NAT64 by APIVERSA is designed for anyone who operates an IPv6-only network but still needs to access IPv4 resources. This includes businesses, data centers, ISPs, and end-users who are part of the ongoing global shift to IPv6.
Some restrictions apply to maintain the security and integrity of the service. For example, certain ports may be blocked to prevent abuse, protect against spam, and avoid illegal activities. You can find more details on our Blocked Ports page.
NAT64 by APIVERSA allows you to choose a DNS64 server in your own country, which helps minimize latency and avoid geoblocking issues. By selecting a nearby DNS64 server, your requests will be routed more efficiently, reducing the likelihood of geoblocks and ensuring the lowest possible latency.
NAT64 by APIVERSA does not impose specific bandwidth caps or data limits, but we monitor network usage to ensure fair access for all users. Excessive or abusive usage that impacts service quality may result in temporary restrictions.
NAT64 by APIVERSA is designed to be easy to use. The only change required is the set your DNS servers to our DNS64 server for your country. After setting the DNS servers, the service will automatically handle the translation of IPv4 traffic to IPv6 for you.
